Now that sweet Aloha has finished her AKC championship, we will be casually looking for her retirement home. To be transparent, she did not pass her health testing (she is not showing to be affected) and we think she’d be happy being a spoiled, loved couch potato. She is 3 years old, a new AKC Champion and a UKC Grand Champion. She is a world traveler, hailing from beautiful Montenegro.

Aloha is good with friendly dogs but she is a terrier and will get involved if there’s a scuffle (supervised play dates - yes, dog parks - no) She doesn’t harass the cats, however I would not recommend a home with access to chickens as she thinks they’re toys (they are not toys, Aloha). She has been great with our toddler and has been shown with a junior handler and done wonderfully, too. She can scale a 4ft fence with ease to come looking for you if she’s left outside alone so a 6ft fence or leashed walks are necessary. She can proudly defluff a stuffed toy in minutes. She is very snuggly and people pleasy. Obviously, she’s crate and potty trained.

We are in no rush and sometimes placing an older Amstaff takes time, which is why we’re posting now. She can stay as long as it takes to find her the perfect home. Our intention is to have her spayed prior to placement. She will make an amazing pet for a lucky new owner
